Intralesional bleomycin versus cryotherapy for treatment of cutaneous warts: a randomized controlled trial

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of intralesional bleomycin in comparison to cryotherapy treatment cutaneous warts. Method: The randomized controlled trial was conducted at Department Dermatology, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi, from January July 2021, and comprised patients either gender aged 18-60 years who had warts for 1-48 weeks. subjects were divided into group A treated with 0.1% bleomycin, B through non probability consecutive sampling. Follow-up examination done 2, 4 6 Data analysed using SPSS 23. Result: Of 154 patients, 96(62.3%) male 58(37.7%) females. overall mean age 33.253+6.726 years. There 77(50%) each two groups. therapy after weeks found be effective 73(94.8%) 57(74%) (p=0.001).
